Photo Contest Winners Announcement
Thanks to everyone who entered the 2011 National Water Safety Photo Contest and congratulations to the winners! Attached are the photos and a list of first, second, honorable mention and best of show winners in each of the nine categories.
Our winners this year are: Brad Keshlear (Best of Show); David Rigg in two categories, Michael Watkins in six categories, and Keith Fink (First Place winners); Michelle Hill in two categories, Tracy Robillard, Erin Hilligoss- Volkman, Mindy Cory, Bill Donnellan, Steve Rector, and Bob Karlen (Second Place winners) and David Rigg, Steve Sporer, Brad Keshlear in two categories, Michael Watkins, Chad Eller, Joshua Davis, and David Lewis in two categories (Honorable Mention winners).
Winning photos were announced during the International Boating and Water Safety Summit agency meeting on 5 March 2012. In the near future, high resolution photos will be posted in the CorpsLakes Photo Album at this link: http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/employees/watersafety/photos.cfm. Winners and runner-ups will also receive personalized recognition awards presented by the National Operations Center for Water Safety.
Please note that there will not be a 2012 water safety photo contest; this decision was made to allow time for a new program manager to be selected following current manager Lynda Nutt's retirement on 31 March 2012.
